Enlighten, Engage, Empower: Through Culture to Community
ERASMUS+ SMALL-SCALE PARTNERSHIPS
PROJECT
BACKGROUND & PURPOSE
The European Union prioritizes the well-being of its citizens, recognizing its close connection to the harmonious growth of society. Communities play a pivotal role in this development, as they are responsible for managing both the daily needs and long-term aspirations of their residents.
Culture is universally acknowledged as a vital driver of progress. From historical landmarks and museums to modern art, cultural expressions enhance lives and foster a sense of belonging. Creativity and inclusive cultural practices are essential in building open, diverse communities where everyone can participate and thrive.
Technology plays a key role in this, offering innovative ways for individuals to interact with and experience culture in more engaging and accessible formats.
This project aims to create new opportunities for the inclusion of socially vulnerable groups by integrating culture and technology. Working alongside the Association of Lithuania’s Regions Libraries (LRBA), Fondatsiya “Tsennosti, Dobrodeteli, Integritet” from Bulgaria, and Cultiv Associação de Ideias from Portugal, we have developed interactive tutorials tailored for adult educators. These resources are designed to enhance community cohesion and promote inclusivity through education.
By combining cultural engagement with technological innovation, the project provides valuable tools that support educators in building stronger, more inclusive communities, ultimately improving the well-being and connectedness of socially vulnerable individuals everywhere.
We invite you to explore the results of our project on this website, where you’ll find the interactive tutorials and resources created to help foster inclusivity and community spirit. Join us in our mission to empower educators and strengthen communities through culture and technology.
ACHIEVED OBJECTIVES
To achieve the set goal, specific objectives were implemented:

Knowledge Exchange & Innovation
We organized three transnational events where 24 educators came together to exchange experiences, discuss best practices, and generate new ideas on combining culture, technology, and education. This collaborative approach led to the development of innovative methods and tools to enrich educational practices.

Practical Implementation & Community Involvement
Through local pilot training activities with 120 participants from target groups, we tested and demonstrated how the generated ideas could be effectively applied. These activities showcased successful strategies for engaging and mobilizing communities, turning ideas into real-world impact.

Sustainable Tools & Long-Term Use
As part of the project, nine practical digital tools were selected, and interactive tutorials were created in multiple languages. These tools are designed for easy use and long-term application by educators, providing valuable resources for promoting inclusive education and strengthening community bonds across diverse settings.
